Default Marcos Molina

Looks like he's made his first couple starts of the season. Because of his TJS, this season isn't anything more than a get back of track season for him, but does anyone know if he's viewed as trade bait, or someone who could fight for a rotation spot next year

Flexen back too.

Both will probably move up to AA after the draft?

Molina apparently looked really good in the AFL, going to try to see him before he goes. His ETA gets much quicker if he moves to the pen, a lot of people think his future is there, as a high leverage reliever.

I don't know if you've noticed lately, but Mets can't really afford to trade any arms with MLB potential anymore. That's half the problem, like arms like Luis Cessa or John Gant probably aren't great, but not having those guys means we've had to rely on Rafael Montero and Tommy Milone. So yeah.

That said, pretty sure people were penciling in Molina as a future reliever even before the TJS because his mechanics are pretty shitty.

Taylor was good in AFL.

At AA Binghamton this year he's been beat up a bit. 15 games, 18 1/3rd IP, 4.42 ERA, WHIP of 1.5, K's are just over 7 per 9IP.......on the positive side he's yet to give up a home run and has only walked 4 (2 per 9). Sounds like he's been unlucky in terms of BABIP but he's definitely not missing bats.

5 starts so far in SL, 1.26 ERA, 0.77 WHIP

Hasn't pitched extremely well since move up to AA. But he has gone fairly deep in his 5 starts. Which is why he's 0-5. But his 11+ ERA and low k's (28 over 34.1 IP) are not too nice to view either. Obviously all that really matters is he's pitching and healthy.

Past two games: 12 IP, 14 K, 2 R, 8 H, 1 BB

We could really use him turning into a back-end bullpen option next season

Im hoping some of the guys we snagged in trades are like this. Good arms that aren't ranked high because they are bullpen arms.

Well his velocity hasn't fully recovered from TJ IIRC.
