For all the shit Tebow gets, kudos to him. Being a MiLB player isn’t glamorous. Dudes a millionaire and could be spending his time comfortably on ESPN making a lot more money than he is in Syracuse. But dude just loves baseball and loves competing.

All that being said, they better never call him up unless there’s a monumental breakthrough. Lol

That's because he got hurt. He was actually playing pretty good ball in Binghamton before the injury.

Last year they probably didnít want to have to add him to the 40 and then keep him there all this year (even though if they dfad him nobody would claim him anyways).. but especially with how bad heís sucking and how old he is... theyíll definitely give him a call up in September and give him the Wright treatment. And then heíll retire
Lol, the Wright treatment? Know what you're driving at, but poor comp. Giving Tebow a look in September is not the same thing as a franchise legend getting a ceremonial farewell.

In my mind - yes I know that it’s different
The Wilpons mind - an otherwise empty September stadium = packed for 3-4 days = the same thing

i'd have to think tebow will wind up calling it quits at the end of the season, if not before then.

If he gets hot, I could see him getting called up for an injury or a double header 25th man or something (get that Marlins attendance up). Then being sent down because the publicity would get more asses in NY and in Syracuse so the Wilpons cash in.

Struck out looking vs a position player.

He's ready for this team.

Would he actually be a draw if he's called up? He would pack the stadium?

Only if we can get MLB to schedule the Tebow Classic every year in Gainesville.

You know these douchebags will be dying to call him up in September but even they have to know it will be clown shoes to call him up if his OPS is still around .500.
