MLB has 16 teams in the Central/West, there's 16 PCL teams in the West.
MLB has 14 teams in the East, there's 14 IL teams in the East.

The White Sox have been with Charlotte for decades, and the Twins are with the Rochester. That means two eastern teams need PCL affiliates.

Miami in New Orleans isn't bad, but one Eastern team gets fucked.

By the way, thereís six agreements up this off-season:
SEA, TEX, HOU, OAK, WAS, MIL need affiliates.
Tacoma, Fresno, Las Vegas, Nashville, Round Rock, San Antonio need MLB parents.

Seattle (likely Tacoma renewal)
Texas and Houston (who will be Round Rock and San Antonio)

Milwaukee or Washington are going to be fucked.

Thank god!

And with luck, the Nats will get stuck out there for a few years.

But then again, the MLB will shortly expand to 32 and teams will need to be added everywhere.

it would make some sense for the A's to move from nashville to las vegas.

Sucks that the Nats will probably end up in Nashville instead of out west (or Rochester if the Twins go to Nashville):

Mets: Las Vegas-> Syracuse
A's: Nashville-> Las Vegas
Nationals: Syracuse-> Nashville
Rangers: Round Rock-> San Antonio (moving from Colorado Springs)
Astros: Fresno-> Round Rock
Brewers: Colorado Springs-> Fresno

There's probably only a handful of minor league cities that you wouldnt consider boring.

The irony is when the Mets finally buy a AAA team after scrambling for 12 years, they probably would have gotten out of Vegas this year regardless.

They would still be in the PCL.

Maybe if not Rochester. But the central zone PCL (American) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the west coast PCL (Pacific) for an East coast team (it's not even close).

Bottom line the Wilpons suck and always delay things that should have been taken care of years ago or should have never happened in the first place.
