48% is hard to fathom when there is essentially a six-way tie for two spots.

Lol I actually voted yes too but can't say it was with full confidence. We should force everyone who says they voted yes to post a screenshot, although I guess it's easy to Photoshop

I’ll take that 5.5% odds to win the division :)

Chances of game 162 being significant are very high. That we'll have to rely on either Jake or Thor to finish out... Also high. I'd be very concerned for any WC game pitched by anyone other than them.

The way things are currently lined up barring any rainouts/injuries is that Syndergaard would pitch the last day of the season and Degrom would be lined up for Wild Card game

“Come and get us” may actually work.

I feel solid about Syn, deGrom, Stroman, Wheeler to go final game, WC1 (home game), then G1, G2. All of those guys have the potential for CG, 0ER, 10K+. I’n cautiously optimistic. The best outcome would be AAA pitching the last game or two bc they clinched. Line up deGrom/Syn/Stroman/Wheeler for the playoffs. Nuts.

ps. Matz as a full effort, multi-inning reliever and/or piggyback to save Lugo/the BP at least one game.

I’m not sold on stroman out of the bunch in a WC game yet. Or even 100% on wheeler but thor n degrom, hellllll yes

NL WC game is Tuesday so our WC pitcher wouldn’t have pitched in last 3 games of the season

So could end up being one of matz or wheeler or stroman

If they pitch Thor and Jake the final weekend

I wpuld put the Cards and Cubs ahead of the Mets for the 2nd WC spot. Cards pitching has been on the rise when the bullpen remains our Achilles heel.

The freaking Cardinals...they just never go away. They worry me the least (on paper) of the competing teams, but they seem to always catch a break and/or get scrubs to perform like all stars.

We match or exceed them in all departments except the bullpen. Their middle and late innings tievers are having good seasons. They win close games or don't blow many
