2 home runs in 3 games? Wow. I bet that hasn't been done often

A college bat in low minors. Conforto was in second full season in the majors in the same timeline. Hes supposed to demolish 18 year kids who have a FB and shaky breaking pitches.

There are zero 18 year old pitchers in AA or the FSL, and most of the pitchers in those leagues are far more advanced than what you described.

he's played 15 games in AA. I think Jwill's point remains that everything Alonso has done to this point is basically what a college bat should have done.

Guess how many pitchers under the age of 21 actually pitched in the FSL last year? Then keep in mind Alonso was a ripe old age of 22.

You think all college bats put up a .250 ISO in their first 500 PAs?

Yeah of course what he's doing isn't unprecedented but if you're not slightly excited about Alonso you're miserable

Big Pete is gonna rip opposing pitchers dicks off and skull fuck them with their own dick. Then he'll continue his homerun trot around the bases.

last year was his first full season you dimwit.

we're in his second year and he's in double a, so please think(but not too hard) on his trajectory to the majors.

I believe in the bat, but it sounds like he needs to get way better at 1st to have a chance of playing in the NL.

68 extra base hits in 127 pro games and decent on base skills/strike zone judgement... He's no less of a prospect than Duda was, and we saw what he turned into.

I have no idea where he's at defensively right now, but he's a big dude and I doubt he'll ever be better than serviceable if he's struggling at first right now, but his bat is probably the most exciting in the system at the moment until some of the IFAs develop.

Dom vs Alonso is going to be like Ike vs Duda all over again.
