Code:
Tool	Future Grade	Report
Hit	50	Can get a little handsy during his load and lose bat control, popped up some easy cheez. Tough to ding him too much at the end of a long amateur/pro season. Swing can get long and leveraged. Enough bat speed to cover above-average velocity, can exploit aggression early in counts. May end up pop over hit.
Power	55	Ball jumps, backspin and loft, plus raw, should get to most of it.
Baserunning/Speed	55	11.4 on a triple, good second gear, looks like a present plus runner, would expect him to give some of that back in his 20s, but the frame looks close to a finished product.
Glove	55	Can really go get it, strong instincts, runs to the spot, will adjust routes on the fly, reads ball well, goes gap-to-gap with ease, got a 25% bucket play in RCF on a glide. Doesn’t have that explosive closing kick, but everything else looks like a sure shot CF.
Arm	60	Plus arm strength, good carry, accurate. Didn’t get to see him really air it out, and have heard plus-plus thrown on him here.
Quote:
Overall
Broad base of skills, five-tool center field projection, may lack a carrying tool for stardom, but the makings of an above-average regular here. Would like to see how he adjusts to full-season ball, might answer some lingering questions about the ultimate hit tool. Going to get Brandon Nimmo comps because of the background, organization, and draft position, but better center field tools than Nimmo at the same age. Less raw than you’d think given the background, .260, 20 home run type that can play CF everyday.

Mariners: Jarred Kelenic, OF (No. 2, MLB No. 53) -- 1-for-4, solo HR (2) (Class A West Virginia)
Kelenic's hot streak continued as he extended his hitting streak to 12 games with his second homer of the season. The 2018 first-rounder, acquired from the Mets in the Edwin Diaz trade, had just two hits over his first seven games, but has been on fire ever since and is hitting .320 through 19 games in his full-season debut.

He's still striking out a bit more than you'd like, 13 Ks in 13 games, but his now 13 game hit streak is approaching ridiculous.

.453 .517 .755 1.271 with a .568 babip.

There have been much worse trades than this one, but I kind of agree with you. Short of a world series appearance 2019 or 2020, I think the mets gave up more than they added.

I just want the Mets to have or be something we can all be proud of calling the worst or best ever. Is that too much to ask???

Worst record ever in the modern era. 40-120
Worst trade ever (Nolan Ryan) - OK, I guess Babe Ruth was worse, but Nolan's up there.
Worst owner ever - M. Donald Grant.
Team that did the most cocaine and did the most damage to a team jet - 86 mets.

Have I missed any?

Doesn't count because it was before many of us were even born.
