He would have been my last cut had I written the orgs prospect blurbs for our book. Heís eligible to be a Minor League free agent, right? Letís see what he does with a second go at full-season ball.

Injuries and overhyping by the prospect media. He had one of the greatest showcases ever in, front of an org who supplies the majority of the international prospect evaluations to the media. Now, itís 3or 4orgs supplying info. Back then, it was really only one, allegedly.

Believe any non-relief prospect besides Alonso might have an impact in the MLB team next year?

Tebow is a non-prospect but I bet it's someone from outside the org. Guys like Cecchini are still prospects. I'd say Marcos Molina if he wasn't released. He looked really good in instructs with the Orioles.

I didn't realize he saw Columbia last year. Didn't do so good.

He's not a minor league free agent yet. According to TPG he's rule 5 eligible for the first time this year, so he's probably 2 years away from free agency.

Columbia could be a lot of fun next year. Maybe he'll be part of that squad.

I don't think so either.

Molina finding his pre-TJ stuff with some other team after looking completely dead for two years would be such a Mets thing

Better chance to make an impression in 2019 and make a bid for the 2020 3rd baseman job.

Toffey

or

Thompson

or

Someone else

or

None of the above. Look for a free agent to play 3rd in 2020.

and how serious is Thompson's injury? He missed basically the entire season this year, but you liked him last year in AFL as I recall.

Hi Pickles,

Any thoughts on Patterson. I read Jeffrey Patternostro kind of liked him. He put him around #20 in his Colorado prospect ranking about a year ago.

Yeah, I saw that. I thought he might be a good fit on the mets in a 26th man kind way and I thought they should have kept him, but, what do I know.
