Fresno to DC has to be worse than Vegas to NY in terms of travel logistics/timeframe

It's extra funny because we set those wheels in motion

The Negative is Fresno ball park isn't a dump like Vegas was.

Vegas has a new ballpark for 2019. Seems like they waited for the Mets to leave as they forth over it for years.

We probably would have ended up in Fresno if we didn't buy Syracuse.

I dont think direct flights exist to the east coast. Think about that.

Haha, fresno is my team. Lol with DC getting the shaft. 7pm starts in fresno are 100 degrees June, July and august. At 7pm, 100 degrees. I've made 4 games in all the years. Hot as balls

Fresno has daily non-stop flights to 12 cities. Five NL cities (all NL West). Daily flights to Chicago are seasonal.

Vegas had daily flights to 150 cities.

There's a reason the Mets bought Syracuse. It's the only way to be in control.

The Braves own several of their minor league teams.

Yup. It's a newish trend in minor league sports.

So in hockey a few years ago, their "Triple-A" league stretched only from Newfoundland to Iowa, while the NHL had 13 teams West or South of the AHL footprint.

To create a western division of the AHL, western teams bought AHL teams and western ECHL teams and swapped affiliations.

MLB isn't that bad, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Nationals or someone else makes a run at buying Rochester or Durham.
