Mets Refugees Community Projection Results: Pedro Martinez

By Dan | February 10, 2008

As you can see from the comparisons to the various projection systems, the Refugees are very optimistic about Pedro’s full-season return from surgery. With the exception of Bill James, the other projection systems are “dumb”, in that they don’t know why Pedro only pitched 28 innings last year, they just know that he did.

If the Refugees are right about Pedro, it should be an interesting 2008 for the Mets. With the addition of Santana, the Mets would have the best 1-2 combo in all of baseball.
