MLB Implements Mitchell’s Recommendations
By Dan | January 7, 2008
Major League Baseball has begun acting on the recommendations presented by Senator Mitchell with new clubhouse security measures aimed at preventing the use of performance enhancing drugs. Amongst the new rules, clubs will be required to maintain a log of all packages sent to Major League ballparks and most importantly, overnight notice to Clubs before the arrival of drug testing personnel has been eliminated. Collectors will be provided with permanent credentials now.
