Mets Refugees a part of Citi Field

By Dan M. | October 30, 2007

As the regulars at our forum know, a number of Refugees chipped in recently to buy a brick for the Citi Field Fanwalk, where personalized bricks will surround the Jackie Robinson Rotunda.

A ”Certificate of Ownership” came in the mail today, and as AaronHeilman pointed out on the forum, we have the honor of being brick number 42 outside the rotunda named after Robinson, who had his number 42 retired throughout Major League Baseball in 1997.

A personalized replica brick should be here within the next month or so–I’ll post pictures as soon as it comes.

If you’re interested in ordering a brick for yourself or your family, you can visit the Citi Field Fanwalk website.
